Personal Interests

Dr. Vahora loves the weather and beaches of the Trinity area, having completed her fellowship in Kissimmee before opening her private practice. When not conducting research or speaking on women’s health issues, she enjoys running, traveling, and bead weaving in her free time.

Dr. Vahora’s Islamic faith and spirituality guide her life, in both her gynecology practice and daily interactions with others. Her deep spirituality drives her to help people every day, and she remains committed to charity organizations and advocacy work outside of her practice.

If you want to get to know Dr. Vahora on a more personal note, she is active on Instagram. She posts books she reads (she’s part of a book club and an avid reader). She also posts recent completed crafting projects – she enjoys beading and painting – among many amusing crafty projects.

Biography

Growing up in a family of physicians, Dr. Parveen S. Vahora was exposed and drawn to a career in medicine from an early age. She applied in high school and was accepted to the highly competitive Drexel University School of Medicine early acceptance program to complete her bachelor’s and doctor of medicine degree. After a rewarding medical school experience, Dr. Vahora completed a fellowship in laparoscopy and pelvic surgery at Celebration Health in Florida. Now, as a board-certified, fellowship-trained laparoscopic gynecological surgeon, Dr. Vahora owns a private practice in Trinity, Florida, with the help of her talented nurse practitioner.

In addition to being the only practitioner in the area to offer the MonaLisa Touch® Laser, Dr. Vahora performed the first single-site robotic hysterectomy in North Pinellas County. She is highly trained in minimally invasive procedures for conditions such as pelvic pain and is able to conduct sophisticated genetic testing. She also implemented enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS®) protocols for her all surgical patients, resulting in improved quality of care, a shorter length of stay, less adverse events, better patient experience, and decreased cost.
